someone sent me this, think its from blabbermouth (something like that) might be old news

Steamhammer/SPV has announced the signing of the American cult band W.A.S.P. On November 10 in Germany, November 13 in Europe and November 21 in USA, their new offering, "Dominator", arrives in the shops, their first studio album since 2004.

With "Dominator", Blackie Lawless & Co are to release a further masterpiece that simply bristles with phenomenal riffs and catchy arrangements. Besides numerous quality compositions of their own, such as "Mercy", "Take Me Up" or "Heaven's Hung In Black" bearing the band's typical trademarks, "Dominator" also offers with "Burn" (DEEP PURPLE) and "Fortunate Son" (CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL) two cover versions that stay true to the W.A.S.P. tradition of "The Real Me" and "I Don't Need No Doctor".
"Dominator"track listing:

01. Mercy
02. Burn (DEEP PURPLE cover)
03. Take Me Up
04. Heaven's Blessed
05. Heaven's Hung In Black
06. Long Long Way To Go
07. Teacher
08. Heaven's Hung In Black (Reprise)
09. Fortunate Son (CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL cover)

I got to hear "Mercy" very classic Waspy stuff. sounds cool

Love the album art, too cool. My friend and I have been bitching about this album for a while now (still unheard, just the track listing). Nine songs, two remakes and a reprise, and that's it. I am interested in Fortunate Son, though, that could be good. Blackie definitely doesn't go above and beyond in giving you all your money's worth. Longest he's played in concert the three times I've seen him was 1 hour and 15 minutes, and that included the couple of minutes of "drama" music at the beginning and the five minute obligatory "encore" period at the end. Great shows, just not long enough. Kinda like this album, I fear .... :?
I'm going inbetween, are you set and centered?

W.A.S.P. have put out some amazing ballads. They really show off Blackie's vocal ability. My favorite ballad from them is "Hold On To My Heart". But, all of them are good.

Wasp is one of my all time favorites, I love all their music the ballads and the heavy stuff with the exception of KFD, I don't know what they were thinking on this album.

The Idol and Hold on to my heart has to be the 2 most beautiful.
They played The idol when I saw them in April.Very nice . They have some slow cool songs on KFD also but I don´t know if you can call them ballads ?
