Original Iron Butterfly vocalist Darryl DeLoach, 55, died on October 3 at his mother's home in San Diego following a battle with liver cancer. DeLoach, who appeared on the band's debut album, Heavy, left Iron Butterfly before their 1968 calling card album In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida.
