MEMBERS OF JETBOY, THE ZEROS AND GLAMOUR PUNKS SURFACE IN COLD BLUE REBELS

November 14, 2009

COLD BLUE REBELS - Glam Rockers Gone Psycho... PschoBILLY, That Is!

Members Of JetBoy, The Zeros And Glamour Punks Surface In Cold Blue Rebels If you survived or recall the Sunset Strip Punk-Glam-Trash-Rock Scene of the late 80's and early 90's, you'll know the names JETBOY, THE ZEROS, and THE GLAMOUR PUNKS.

Let us now introduce you to COLD BLUE REBELS... a spankin' new super-group culled from the wreckage of these three classic Sunset Strip bands! Fronted by vocalist MICKEY FINN of the legendary JETBOY, JOE NORMAL and DANNY DANGEROUS of the infamous purple-haired ZEROS on scorchin' guitar and slappin' double bass, plus former GLAMOUR PUNKS skins basher SPAZZ DRAZTIK on the drums. This is one helluva PSYCHO Rockabilly outfit... "heavy on the 'billy," as Mickey would say.

Recording albums for major and indie labels, and having rocked stages worldwide, these four west coast rockers have had a lifelong love of vintage Rock n Roll, early Punk Rock, Rockabilly and classic hot-rod cars.

Finn has been hanging out in the LA Psycho scene for the last few years and loves the energy, style, and music. Reuniting recently with his pal Dangerous, he was happy to learn that he too has been into the Rockabilly/Psycho scene for a long time. It didn't take long for them to start planning the future of COLD BLUE REBELS. And just as fast as you can say "PsychoSonicBoomaBillyRockin'Guitar'n'Drums", the calls were made to Joe Normal and Spazz to hook up, jam, and start writing songs together.

"Our vibe bounces back and forth between fast swingin' rockabilly songs with horror lyrics, to sick, fast driving punkabilly.......with horror lyrics!!" Says Mickey. "And don't forget a dose of Honky Tonk and Country Punk" adds Danny!!

COLD BLUE REBELS are preparing to destroy the stages and cemeteries of America. Look for the Rebels cruisin' in thier '74 Oldsmobile Hearse and "Ratty", a '56 Ford Mainline Rat-rod built by Joe Normal himself. Their debut show is SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28th , THE BORDELLO BAR, 901 East 1st Street, Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90012.
