Mach burst onto the Boston punk/rock scene in the 70's with his band Thundertrain. Thundertrain tore up the east coast with their glam/punk/rock. They were Boston's answer to the NY Dolls and sounded like Slade. Thundertrain released one, now legendary album, "Teenage Suicide". After Thundertrain broke up, Mach was asked by Joe Perry of Aerosmith to join the Joe Perry Project. Mach toured with Joe and was the singer on Joe's 3rd solo album, "Once A Rocker, Always A Rocker." With the recent re-issue on Gulcher Records of Thundertrain's "Teenage Suicide" album on cd, Mach re-formed that band for a few highly successful east coast shows. Living up to his Joe Perry Project motto "once a rocker, always a rocker", Mach decided to put together a new band in the fall of 2004. The new band was officially named Mach 5 after Speed Racers car. Joining Mach in the Mach 5 is, Dee Stroy (ex-Johnnies/Sugabomb), Jimmy Birmingham (ex-Real Kids), and Jeff Thomas. Mach 5 rocks on in the same tradition as Mach's earlier bands, Thundertrain and the Joe Perry Project. A mix of sleazy, glam influenced rock'n'roll.
