ALICE COOPER INKED FOR NIGHTLY RADIO SHOW: Legendary rocker Alice Cooper has signed a deal with United Stations Radio Networks to host a weeknight shift targeted to Classic Rock stations. The syndication company will work closely with Cooper to develop the creative content of the program. Executive VP/Programming Andy Denemark commented, "We’ve been monitoring the success of various evening programs in other formats and felt that Rock radio is one format where nights really have potential. When Alice Cooper approached us with a desire to do radio, the fit was just a natural. A lot of us remember when nights at rock radio were really fun and interesting. It’s our intention to do that again." Beginning January 26, 2004, "Nights With Alice Cooper" will be delivered to affiliates via satellite Monday-Friday (7pm-12midnight).
