BRITNY FOX STILL LOADED WITH ENERGY Show Date: July 5, 2007 Location: Elmhurst, Illinois, U.S.A. Venue: Good Times Pub Reviewer: Anita Maree Band Website: www.britnyfox.com - www.myspace.com/britnyfoxband
Who can forget in the late 80's when glam rockers Britny Fox exploded on the charts with their hit Long Way To Love and then that ever so popular video for their song Girlschool. Their self-titled debut album sold nearly one million copies and they toured nationally with bands like Ratt, Poison, and Bon Jovi. With many albums under their belt, Britny Fox is currently on tour tearing up the clubs. Some of the band members have changed for this tour, but the line-up they have in place can absolutely get the job done. The band led off the night with their energizing Six Guns Loaded. Lead singer Tommy Paris had the crowd roaring back the chorus with fists punching in the air and lead guitarist Tommy Krash showed off his guitar riffs when they pushed into their next song, She's So Lonely. Rounding out the band is drummer Greg D'Angelo (yes, he is from White Lion) and the flashy bassist Billy Childs. Britny Fox poured out more songs during the night like Livin' On A Dream, Lonely Too Long, Black and White, Left Me Stray, and their top 40 hit, Dream On. Of course the band left the best for last covering the Nazareth hit Hair of the Dog and ending the night with their ground-breaking song Girlschool.
