History:
A Swedish band that has ties to the earliest incarnation of Princess Pang all the way back to the early 80's. Despite three of the four members being involved in the flourishing 80's hard rock scene, Stockholm Showdown leans more towards the soulful blues of rock'n'roll in the early seventies.
  The group was the brainchild of original Princess Pang members Stefan Sterta Byrstedt (vocals and guitar) and Ronnie Rozen Johansson (bass). The duo had written songs together as far back as the early 80's, and when they reunited, realized that the magic was still there. Drummer Peter Trunken Forsberg, who had been in bands with Rozen since they were teenagers, was recruited, and then the band was completed with the addition of guitarist Slim Tannberg.
  The guys produced and arranged the debut album on their own and officially released it on October 10, 2002. The band constantly gigs in their home country, and are sure to spread out with their uncompromising brand of rock.
