Review:
This is the sophomore outing from this glam quartet that went on to sell over five million copies. Who could forget such hit singles as "Nothin' But A Good Time" (#6), "Fallen Angel" (#12), the fun cover of Loggins & Messina's "Your Mama Don't Dance" (#10) and the timeless power ballad "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" -- based on a personal experience of Bret's, and Poison lone #1 single. Throw in such rockers as "Love On The Rocks" and "Tearin' Down The Walls" and you have the ingredients for a classic glam album.
In the late 80s Poison had the looks, wrote catchy tunes and went on to sell millions of records; they really could do no wrong. As they have always been one of my favorite bands I am glad to say that they still record and tour to this day with the original line-up intact. Open Up And Say...Ahh! easily gets two thumbs up!
