Review:
This is the sophomore release from the multi-platinum quartet known as Motley Crue, and also the album that made this band of misfits household names. Not only is this my favorite Motley Crue album, it's one of my favorite albums period.
Charting singles like "Looks That Kill" (#54) and "Too Young To Fall In Love" (#90), as well as "Red Hot" really rock! Motley Crue also do an excellent cover of The Beatles's "Helter Skelter". Bassist Nikki Sixx got his start in the infamous band London, but it was this album that catapulted him to multi-platinum success.
The 2003 Hip-O re-release of Shout At The Devil also includes some cool previously unreleased bonus tracks and demos. I truly hope one day the band members can put aside their differences to put out one last album and do a proper farewell tour. I give this sleaze classic two thumbs up!
