Review:
This is the debut disc from these southern tinged rockers. First off I want to say I had the pleasure of seeing Jackyl in concert and meeting them backstage about ten years ago, they were really cool and gracious to the fans. It's also worthy of mention that this album went platinum in the alternative/grunge era, which is an amazing feat.
  The record itself is chock full of sex and sleaze. My personal favorites include "I Stand Alone", "Down On Me" and the chainsaw infused "The Lumberjack". Jackyl is an admirable band that has stuck true to the music they admire, and they are still making music to this very day. I give this disc two thumbs up!
