Bad Reputation
History:
Dirty White Boy was an excellent, but short-lived, blues based sleaze band. One
album and a short tour was all that the band managed before breaking up.
The group was formed in Los Angeles, California by David Glen Eisley (vocals ex-
Giuffria), Earl Slick (guitar, of John Lennon and David Bowie
fame), F. Kirk Alley (bass) and Keni Richards (drums ex-Autograph).
The band quickly went to work on their debut album with famed producer Beau Hill.
However with the release of Bad Attitude and its singles, "Let's Spend Momma's Money"
and "Lazy Crazy", the group was unhappy with the
production. The band toured extensively in Europe, but bad timing and record industry
politics led to the band's quick demise.
Eisley resurfaced in Murderer's Row with Bob Kulick and also released
a solo album called The Lost Tapes that featured some unreleased Dirty White Boy songs.
Slick would join another similar sounding band called Little Caesar before
hooking up with Richards for some solo discs. Unfortunately Dirty White Boy
became nothing more then another great forgotten hard rock band.
