Review:
Well cats and kittens it sure has been a while since my last review, but BAM! I am back with a proper vengeance. This week's band and CD need no introduction or another review for that matter, but I'm doing one anyway.
Def Leppard - High 'N' Dry, one of the most quintessential recordings of all time! If you are not familiar with it...GO BUY NOW!!! If you are then the mere mention of "Bringin' On The Heartbreak", "Another Hit And Run", "High 'N' Dry (Saturday Night)" or the bonus selection "Me And My Wine" shoots a chill right up your spin!! The band hits on all 8 cylinders throughout this recording, there are no fillers on this CD. Joe Elliott's voice was never better and the twin guitar attack from Pete Willis and Steve Clark is top shelf. The two Ricks fill out the bottom end better than a J-Lo mini dress.
Now I know many believe that Pyromania is where the band hit it out of the park, and hell yes it is a great record, but revisit High 'N' Dry with a good set of headphones and you will agree that there is 'No No No' chance of finding many records that are better and/or stand the test of time like High 'N' Dry.

Review:
This is the sophomore outing from this talented British quintet, and continued to build on the success of their debut. This is one my all time favorite albums, with rocking songs like "Let it Go", "Another Hit And Run" and 'Lady Strange"! It also includes their signature power ballad "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" (#61).
The reissue of High 'N' Dry included two bonus tracks, a remix of "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" and "Me And My Wine". Def Leppard showed on this release how much talent they had, and it translated into huge commercial success. Steve Clark and Pete Willis' (his last recording with the band) playing is very tight through the entire album. Sadly we lost Steve Clark on January 8th, 1991 due to an overdose, what a shame he died so young. Def Leppard continue to record and tour to this day, but High 'N' Dry remains one of their finest releases, and it gets two thumbs up.
