Review:
With the success of their previous bands waning, Tommy Shaw of Styx, Jack Blades of Night Ranger and wild man Ted Nugent joined forces with Michael Cartellone to create a super group that would combine the best of their previous outfits. "Coming of Age" (#60), "Come Again" (#50) and the unforgettable power ballad "High Enough" (#3) pushed the album to the stratosphere. But even un-charting songs such as "Bad Reputation" and "Runaway" failed to disappoint.
Damn Yankees had wonderful players and excellent musicianship, and were able to keep their individual egos in check to release an AOR classic. I give this debut album two thumbs up!
