History:
Broken Teeth are a band that has no understanding of the word subtle. They
play a raw and unforgiving brand of Bon Scott-era AC/DC hard rock,
picking up where bands such as Dirty Looks and Rhino Bucket left off.
Broken Teeth was formed by vocalist Jason McMaster and guitarist Paul Lidel
(ex-Dirty Looks) from the ashes of Dangerous Toys. The duo recruited
Bruce Rivers (drums), Willy Yung (bass) and Joe-E Yung (guitar)
for the unrelenting debut album. Song titles such as "She's Gonna Blow", "Stick It In"
and "Trippin' Over A Bone" set the tone for the album, and warned the listener that
they should prepare themselves for an aural onslaught.
The band solidified the line-up with McMaster, Lidel, Rivers,
Jared Tuten (guitar, ex-Pariah) and Mike Watson (bass, ex-
Dangerous Toys) for their debut concert in September of 1999. Three years later
the band offered up another disc, that accentuated their AC/DC roots - right down
to the chorus chants of "oy" on the song "Guilty Pleasure." 2006 saw Lidel leave the band to concentrate on his Adrenaline Factor project and
guitarist David Beeson was brought in to work on Electric. Bon Scott would be
proud!!
