Review:
Named after an ancestor of vocalist Dizzy Dean Davidson's, Britny Fox exploded onto the scene with huge hair, frilly shirts and a killer debut album. Songs like "Kick'N'Fight", "Fun in Texas" and "Rock Revolution" really rock, while the cover of Slade's "Gudbuy T'Jane" and the patriotic "In America" where great additions. However, it was the singles/videos "Long Way To Love" (#100) and "Girlschool" (with it's provocative video) that broke the band wide open.
The album was dedicated to original drummer Tony "Stix" Destra, who sadly died in a car accident. Britny Fox also had ties with Cinderella, not just with membership and image, but also a similarity in the music played. Britny Fox receive two thumbs up for this glam masterpiece!
